SONAZOID 2017年成為全台SONAZOID立梭影(肝臟病灶顯影劑)獨家代理商,該藥為奇異公司全球獨家藥品,可適用於B、C型肝炎患者罹癌與否的早期診斷及治療,亦可適用早期肝癌患者電燒治療之影像輔助。據台灣衛生福利部估計,國內成人B型肝炎帶原者約250萬人,C型肝炎帶原者約40至70萬人,每年約有1萬人被診斷為肝癌。

超音波對比顯影劑CEUS(contrast-enhanced ultrasonography)檢查在日本行之多年,使用相當普遍,做爲肝癌、肝炎的常規檢查利器。對比劑從手臂的靜脈注射後,再經由超音波的接收與接觸,螢幕上呈現出肝腫瘤之血管影像特徵,有助於肝腫瘤的鑑別診斷。早期的對比劑在肝臟內的滯留時間很短,醫師無足夠時間判讀影像,近年來日本使用的對比劑顯影Sonazoid在肝臟內的滯留時間可長達1小時,可以藉由動脈、靜脈相與Kupffer相更清楚地分辨良性與惡性肝腫瘤,擴大了對比劑顯影超音波在肝腫瘤診斷,治療定位及術後追蹤之應用。而這全球獨家有Kupffer phase的超音波顯影劑Sonazoid,因為副作用極低,診斷及定位效果好,甚至可以做為肝臟原發性與轉移性腫瘤篩檢方式。
